To download your Aadhaar card in India, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the official website of the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) at https://uidai.gov.in/.
  2. Click on the "Download Aadhaar" option on the home page.
  3. On the next page, you will be asked to enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number, 14-digit Enrollment ID, or 28-digit Virtual ID. Select the option that you have.
  4. Enter the required details and enter the captcha code to verify that you are a human.
  5. You will be asked to provide a mobile number that is registered with your Aadhaar. An OTP (one-time password) will be sent to this mobile number.
  6. Enter the OTP and click "Verify OTP and Download."
  7. Your Aadhaar card will be downloaded in a PDF format, which you can open using a PDF reader such as Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Note: To open the downloaded PDF file, you will need to enter a password. The password is the combination of the first four letters of your name (in capital letters) and your year of birth (in YYYY format). For example, if your name is John and your year of birth is 1990, the password will be JOHN1990.
